Mississippi River Bridge Plaza Design Competition Weisman Art Museum at the University of Minnesota
Coen + Partners has been selected by the Target Studio for Creative Collaboration of the Weisman Art Museum at the University of Minnesota as one of four interdisciplinary design teams to take part in a design competition for a plaza on the east end of the Washington Avenue Bridge. We are joined by electronic artist Rafael Lozano Hemmer, and engineers Vansickle Allen and Associates in the conceptual design phase of a new pedestrian plaza, marking the crossroad of an important public space at University of Minnesota adjacent Frank Gehry’s Expanded Weisman Art Museum.
