OPEN POSITIONS

POSITION TITLE: Associate Landscape Architect (Multiple Openings)

POSITION DUTIES:

1. Creates and leads Design Landscape Architecture projects of all sizes, using best practices and ensuring that intent is maintained throughout all aspects of the project: plans, sections, drawings, specifications and reports.

2. Serve as co-leaders on project teams, including acting as mentors, collaborators or reviewers for Senior Designers and Project Designers (less advanced positions than Associate).

3. Assists in coordinating external teams, maintaining client relationships, and communicating project risks and issues effectively.

4. Supports management of the project financial metrics and assists with developing scope of services, project milestones, design project completion dates, and provisions for adjustments.

5. Learns the management of invoicing, participates in project reviews, and helps to maintain management software and the work plan.

Travel: Domestic travel 3% of the time, as customary and necessary, to visit sites for context, meeting with clients, and monitoring the process of construction. Travel is as part of a team, with a supervisor.

Hybrid: This position is based out of the Minneapolis HQ, and it can be performed in a home office in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Master’s in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or closely related and 2 years’ experience; or in the alternative, a Bachelor’s in the same and 4 years’ experience.

2. The relevant experience must be as a Landscape Architect or closely related.

3. The relevant experience must include either 2 years with an MS, or 4 years with a BS with:

a. Revit/BIM 360

b. AutoCad

c. Adobe Suite

d. Lumion, Rhino, Grasshopper or similar rendering/3D Modeling software.

4. All experience can be gained concurrently.

LOCATION OF EMPLOYMENT: 219 Second St. N., Suite 120, Minneapolis, MN 55401 and a home office in the Minneapolis/St Paul metro area.

RATE OF PAY: $90,120 (full-time, 40 hrs/wk), standard company benefits including retirement and health insurance.
