Claudia Harari

DIrector

Claudia brings multidisciplinary and international design experience in a wide range of project scales and typologies. She enjoys discovering the big design idea and overall concept of projects, the narrative and story behind the design. Claudia brings a strong contextual and aesthetic approach to deliver designs that are beautifully inspired in the local site, culture and client needs. Her interests lie from medium to large scale public space and green infrastructural projects that involve several disciplines and artfully shape urban environments, surprise and impact the quality of life of many users.

She is a strong visual designer who is always interested in improving the techniques of visual exploration and representation of projects. Art, Parametric design, urban ecologies, new technologies, and addressing climate change issues in cities are always present as influences in the design .

Claudia holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from Monterrey TEC University in Monterrey NL, Mexico. She is member of the Mexican Academy of Architects and has collaborated in the studios of Peter Walker and Partners (PWP) and Martha Schwartz Partners (MSP). She is the founding partner and creative director of Harari Landscape Architecture in Mexico.

She has lectured about her work in the US, Mexico and South America; and has taught design studios and seminars at Monterrey TEC University, UDEM University, UNAM, Istmo University Guatemala, ITESO, La Salle University, among others.

Claudia enjoys traveling and walking cities to understand their legibility and discover beautiful architecture. She practices Ashtanga Yoga, loves horses, drawing, and playing piano.
